Job summary

ShopBack in Sydney is seeking a highly creative Content Creator who can shoot and edit lo-fi, social-first video for Meta, TikTok, and more, while also appearing on camera for organic channels. You will collaborate with the Brand Manager and Growth teams to craft native-feeling content that performs across paid and organic campaigns, delivering high-volume output in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in social content creation, UGC-style content or short-form video production.
• Strong filming and editing skills, with a mobile-first approach.
• Comfortable on camera, with personality, humour and relatability.
• Proficient in CapCut, Canva and Descript, or similar lightweight tools.
• Solid understanding of TikTok, Reels and trends.
• A fast-moving self-starter who can produce high volumes of content quickly.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A genuine passion for social culture and content that feels current, fun and engaging.

Responsibilities

• Create scroll-stopping, UGC-style video ads for Meta and TikTok, from concept through to final cut.
• Turn briefs from the Growth & Performance teams into multiple hooks, angles and variations for testing.
• Review ad performance with the team and use it to iterate on what’s working.
• Keep ads feeling like native content, not ads.
• Appear on camera in TikToks, Reels and Shorts, bringing personality, humour and energy.
• Run lo-fi content end to end: ideate, script, shoot (mobile-first), edit, caption and publish.
• Plan and deliver a consistent flow of content with the Content Manager.
• Use insights, analytics and trends to improve how content performs.
• Stay across platforms, audio and editing trends and cultural moments.
• Experiment with new lo-fi formats and storytelling styles to grow reach and engagement.
• Pitch fresh ideas and quick prototypes.
• Assist with content uploads across ad platforms; provide concise and engaging ad copy and ad text/descriptions.
