Redpath Mining in Lake Cowal is seeking a truck operator to safely run haul trucks at a large open-cut mining site. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will perform pre-start inspections, use MineStar GPS, and contribute to safe production on a 14/14 roster.

About the Role

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of haul trucks within a large-scale open cut mining environment. You will play a key role in supporting production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate haul trucks in accordance with site procedures.
• Transport ore and waste material to designated dump locations.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and report equipment defects.
• Utilise MineStar GPS technology to accurately haul material.
• Maintain situational awareness and identify potential hazards.
• Participate in toolbox meetings and safety initiatives.
• Work collaboratively within a production mining team.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and operational standards.
