Job summary

Redpath Mining Australia seeks a Mining Yardsperson for Evolution Mining's Lake Cowal Underground Gold Mine in NSW. You will manage surface stores, yards and laydown areas, supporting mining and maintenance teams with safe handling, movement and organisation of equipment and consumables.

Key duties include receiving materials, loading/unloading with forklifts, stock control and maintaining stores to high standards, while upholding safety and housekeeping at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a mining, warehouse, stores or yardperson role
• Current Forklift Licence (highly desirable)
• Experience operating telehandlers, loaders or similar mobile equipment advantageous
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence
• Sound communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Ability to pass site medical and employment requirements

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and distribute materials, equipment and consumables
• Load and unload deliveries using forklifts and other mobile equipment
• Maintain site stores, laydown areas and yard facilities to a high standard
• Assist with inventory management and stock control activities
• Prepare and organise materials for underground and surface operations
• Conduct routine inspections of tools, equipment and storage areas
• Assist maintenance and mining departments as required
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and housekeeping standards
• Identify and report hazards, incidents and equipment defects
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across site operations

Redpath Australia is seeking a motivated and reliable Mining Yardsperson to join our operations at Evolution Mining's Lake Cowal Underground Gold Mine in New South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity to support a busy mining operation while being part of a high-performing team on a long-term project.

About the Role

As a Mining Yardsperson, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of site surface facilities, stores and laydown areas. You will be responsible for supporting mining and maintenance teams through the safe handling, movement and organisation of equipment, materials and consumables.

Key Responsibilities
