Job summary

Redpath Mining seeks experienced Truck Operators for the Renison Project in Tasmania on a long-term underground mission. The role operates on a 7:7 DIDO roster, delivering ore and waste handling with emphasis on safety and efficiency. Join a global leader in underground mining.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in heavy industry, mining, or quarrying.
• Current licences and certifications, including a valid manual driver's licence and First Aid & CPR certificate.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Commitment to safety, demonstrating a safety-first approach in all work activities.
• Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently, including pre-start inspections and maintaining high equipment housekeeping standards.
• Transport ore and waste to designated locations and complete re-entries into work areas as required.
• Communicate effectively with loader and truck operators to support safe traffic management and operational efficiency.
• Comply with all site procedures, safety requirements, and operational instructions, always ensuring safe and effective work practices.
• Participate in meetings, toolbox talks, shift handovers, and improvement initiatives.

We are currently seeking experienced Truck Operators to join our high-performing team at the Renison Project in Tasmania. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a long-term underground mining operation while enjoying an excellent 1 week on, 1 week off DIDO roster that supports a genuine work-life balance.

About The Role

The Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating a truck to haul ore and waste products to the surface.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently, including conducting pre-start inspections and maintaining high equipment housekeeping standards.
• Transport ore and waste to designated locations and complete re-entries into work areas as required.
• Communicate effectively with loader and truck operators to support safe traffic management and operational efficiency.
• Comply with all site procedures, safety requirements, and operational instructions, always ensuring safe and effective work practices.
• Contribute to team performance and continuous improvement by participating in meetings, toolbox talks, shift handovers, and improvement initiatives.
