REDPATH MINING is looking for a skilled Loader Operator to join our Dugald River Project team in Queensland. This full-time permanent position involves safely operating underground loaders and contributing to our production targets while upholding a strong safety culture.

Loader Operator | Redpath Mining | Dugald River Project

2/2 Roster | FIFO | Full-Time Permanent

Redpath Mining is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Loader Operator to join our team at the Dugald River Project in Queensland. Working as part of a high-performing underground mining team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of underground load‑haul‑dump (LHD) equipment while contributing to production targets and maintaining Redpath's strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate underground loader equipment in accordance with site standards and procedures.
• Complete assigned tasks and production activities as directed by Supervisors, supporting site production priorities and plans.
• Apply effective loading techniques to maximise productivity while maintaining a safe working environment.
• Maintain work areas to a high standard, including floor conditions, windrow removal, stockpile management, and stope brow sprinkler setup.
• Comply with all Redpath and client safety, operational, and site‑specific procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience operating in an underground mining environment.
• Current Loader Ticket, with experience operating Sandvik loaders highly regarded.
• Valid Manual Driver's Licence, Current First Aid & CPR, and Working at Heights certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, consistently upholding Redpath's Safety – First, Last and Always philosophy.
