Job summary

Wideland Group in regional Australia is seeking a highly qualified Truck Technician to join our service team. You will diagnose, repair and service trucks, heavy vehicles and buses to a high standard while maintaining safety and quality.

We offer long-term opportunities, extensive factory training and above‑award wages. Applicants with a minimum of 2 years post-trade experience and a Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Trade Qualification are encouraged to apply.

• Minimum 2 years post-trade experience in working on, repairing and servicing trucks, heavy vehicles and/or buses.
• Current Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence.
• Experience with truck electrical systems and diagnostics.

What we are looking for

• Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Current Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence
• Experience with truck electrical systems and diagnostics
• Air conditioning (A/C) experience
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
• The ability to work as a team and independently
• Commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ensuring the workplace is always kept to a high standard
