Job summary

Life Without Barriers Education Bathurst campus is seeking a permanent full-time Teacher to deliver engaging, flexible learning for disengaged young people. You will work closely with Youth Workers to create an inclusive, trauma-informed environment and partner with families and community agencies to support successful transitions.

The role requires tertiary qualifications in Education, active NSW NESA accreditation, and a current First Aid certificate.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Education are required.
• Active NSW NESA accreditation or ability to obtain per NSW manual.
• Experience designing flexible learning for disengaged or at-risk students.
• First Aid certification and a willingness to obtain any required checks.
• Current Australian Drivers Licence and ability to drive 12-seat vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging learning programs for disengaged students.
• Create an inclusive, trauma-informed classroom environment.
• Collaborate with Youth Workers and families for student transitions.
• Build strong relationships with students, families and external agencies.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance and safety.
• Support professional development and contribute to a positive learning culture.
