Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland is seeking a Residential Youth Worker to provide care and support for children and young people in out-of-home care or at risk within families. You will be the primary caregiver during your shift, helping develop life skills, routines and healthy habits in a trauma-informed framework.

You will collaborate with the Coordinator and Service Manager to deliver consistent care, write case notes, and contribute to a safe, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or higher in a relevant field.
• Blue Card current and valid.
• Licensed Care Service (LCS) current.
• Hope and Healing Framework training completed.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to children and young people in out-of-home care or at risk within family environments.
• Be the primary caregiver during shift and help develop life skills.
