Job summary

Community Restorative Centre in Penrith NSW seeks a dedicated Case Worker to provide holistic trauma- and violence-informed care on an outreach basis for women and non-binary clients with complex needs leaving correctional facilities or on bail. Based in Penrith, the role is full-time (38 hours per week) with a contract to 30 June 2027.

The SCHADS Award Level 4 paypoint 4 offers $99,294 plus super and generous salary packaging, along with additional leave over the Christmas period.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing holistic trauma-informed care in outreach settings.
• Ability to work with women and non-binary clients with complex needs.
• Demonstrated cultural competency and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and CALD communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist case management support for people who identify as female or non-binary with complex needs who are leaving NSW Correctional Centres or on bail/community-based sentences.
• Create community connections for clients and manage data, administrative and assessment duties.
• Ensure culturally safe service delivery and coordinate supports within a throughcare model.
