Job summary

JewishCare in New South Wales is seeking an experienced Caseworker for a 6-month fixed-term contract within the Community Services & Engagement team. The role focuses on assessing eligibility for practical and financial assistance and delivering high-quality case management to clients with complex needs.

You will work in a strengths-based, trauma-informed framework to support wellbeing and stability, maintain documentation, and collaborate with internal teams and external providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Work required.
• Experience in case management with individuals and families.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practice.
• Experience with risk assessment and mandatory reporting.
• Lamiliarity with Russian or Hebrew language helpful.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive case management and care planning.
• Assess and manage risk including child protection and family violence.
• Conduct financial assessments in line with procedures.
• Maintain accurate, confidential client documentation.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
