Job summary

cohealth is seeking a Mental Health & Wellbeing Worker to join a multidisciplinary team in the West Mental Health & Wellbeing Local, Wyndham catchment. The role focuses on warm, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented service delivery and will collaborate with clinicians, lived experience staff, peer workers, bicultural workers and partner organisations.

The ideal candidate will have strong psychosocial assessment, engagement skills and experience with distress or trauma.

Qualifications

• Strong psychosocial assessment, engagement and support-planning skills.
• Experience working with people experiencing distress, trauma, complexity or uncertainty.
• Able to form respectful, professional relationships with clear boundaries.
• Alignment with cohealth values and mission

Responsibilities

• Provide brief intervention, wellbeing coaching and psychosocial support for people aged 26+.
• Support group programs, social prescribing activities, community engagement and partnerships.
• Support navigation of mental health, AOD, family violence, housing and social services.
• Complete risk assessments, safety plans and incident reports in line with policy.
