Job summary

Queensland Public Trustee (QPT) is seeking a Client Liaison Officer to support survivors of institutionalised child sexual abuse within the National Redress Scheme. You will be a trusted contact, providing trauma-informed guidance, assess eligibility, and coordinate referrals with families, support networks and service providers across Queensland.

This temporary full-time role across Queensland offers an opportunity to develop specialist knowledge in trauma-informed practice and complex case

Qualifications

• Experience handling sensitive or complex matters with discretion and empathy.
• Ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies and procedures.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and complex workloads.
• Experience or willingness to develop trauma-informed practice knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist support to survivors of institutionalised child sexual abuse within the National Redress Scheme.
• Assess eligibility and coordinate referrals and access to specialist services.
• Act as a trusted point of contact and advocate for survivors, families and support networks.
• Collaborate with government agencies, service providers, advocates and internal stakeholders to deliver coordinated outcomes.
