Djirra invites applications for an Indigenous-led Individual Support Services role in Traralgon to support Aboriginal women and their children impacted by family violence. You will deliver trauma-informed, culturally safe casework and coordinate services to move clients toward safety and healing.

Reporting to the Team Leader of Intensive Case Management, you will work within a MARAM framework, supporting clients through short- and longer-term needs with sensitivity and confidentiality.

Qualificações

• Experience applying culturally safe, trauma-informed approaches.
• Ability to complete accurate case notes and documentation.
• Understanding of confidentiality and mandatory reporting obligations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide culturally safe, collaborative casework support to Aboriginal women and children affected by family violence.
• Undertake risk assessment, case planning, risk management, and safety planning per MARAM.
• Collaborate with ACCOs and services to deliver holistic support.
• Facilitate referrals to mental health, housing, and AOD services.
• Maintain case notes, correspondence, and reports for accountability.
• Assess eligibility for Family Violence Flexible Support Packages.
• Participate in supervision, meetings, and professional development.
• Build strong relationships across internal programs and external agencies.
