Zusammenfassung

Be Recruitment Group is partnering with a respected not-for-profit to recruit a Domestic and Family Violence Outreach Worker for South‑Western Sydney. A 35‑hour week with one WFH day per week is on offer, focusing on short‑term case management for women and children affected by DFSV.

You will perform risk assessments, safety planning, and help clients access housing, legal aid, and other community services. A driver’s licence and working with children checks are required.

Qualifikationen

• A qualification in Social Work, Community Services or a related discipline.
• Experience in domestic and family violence, homelessness or community-based case management is desirable.
• Sound understanding of domestic and family violence, risk assessment, safety planning and trauma‑informed practice.

Aufgaben

• Provide trauma‑informed case management and outreach support to women and children.
• Undertake risk assessments, safety planning and individualised case planning.
• Support access to safe accommodation, housing, legal assistance and other services.
• Conduct telephonic and in‑person outreach appointments and provide advocacy and referrals.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders for coordinated service delivery.
• Participate in a shared on‑call roster, approximately every 8–12 weeks.
