Job summary

Nunkuwarrin Yunti is seeking a Case Manager, Redress Support Services, to provide trauma-informed, person-centred support for people affected by institutional childhood sexual abuse. The role focuses on culturally safe service access, partnership development and advocacy within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or higher in relevant qualification (Torres Strait Islander Primary Health, Community Care or Community Services).
• Experience or training in trauma-informed practice and crisis case management.
• Strong interpersonal skills with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, person-centred case management to individuals affected by institutional childhood sexual abuse.
• Develop and maintain social support networks and coordinate access to culturally safe services.
• Deliver information and referrals to support client wellbeing and outcomes.
• Collaborate with team and external agencies to coordinate integrated services.
• Ensure accurate record keeping, data entry and reporting as required.

Education

Certificate IV in Torres Strait Islander Primary Health (Community Care), or equivalent

Community Services

Social Work (or equivalent)
