Edmund Rice Education Australia Flexible Schools Ltd seeks an Assistant Principal to provide leadership across Deception Bay Flexible School, supporting the Head of Campus and managing day-to-day operations. The role requires collaboration, self-direction, curiosity, engagement, open-mindedness and reflective practice.

The successful candidate will demonstrate commitment to trauma-informed learning, inclusive communities, and justice-oriented education, with eligibility for Queensland teacher

Qualifications

• Must have tertiary teaching qualifications with eligibility for teacher registration in Queensland.
• Open Driver’s license and willingness to drive school buses.
• Commitment to Edmund Rice Education Australia values.
• Ability to lead learning for disenfranchised young people and to engage in reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of programs for young people at risk.
• Provide leadership support across Deception Bay campus and manage day-to-day operations.
• Support the Head of Campus and Area Principal in educational leadership.
• Engage in reflective practice to enhance learning and wellbeing.
