Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) Flexible Schools Ltd is seeking an Associate Head of Campus for Deception Bay Flexible School in Queensland. The role focuses on leadership support for the campus, day-to-day operations, and collaboration with the Head of Campus and Area Principal.

The candidate will lead trauma-informed, inclusive education initiatives and ensure wellbeing for disenfranchised youth. The position requires tertiary teaching qualifications, a driver’s license to operate

This leadership role is broad in its scope and encompasses supporting the Head of Campus for the Deception Bay Campus and managing the day-to-day operations. The role works in close cooperation with the Head of Campus and the Area Principal. Substantial knowledge of, and experience in, educational leadership (as identified in the Key Accountabilities). The person needs to be able to demonstrate an ability to assist staff in this area and to engage in reflective practice on how to best enhance learning for disenfranchised young people and maintain compliance with regulatory bodies.* Demonstrated experience and ability to provide leadership in trauma transformative practice and wellbeing support that supports young people to build a learner identity, achieve positive social outcomes, and re-engage in education.* Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing a range of learning choices and assessments that meet the diverse characteristics, needs and learning styles of young people at risk.* Commitment to and ability to lead a multi-disciplinary community in reflection around working together under four principles of operation: Respect, Safe and Legal, Honesty and Participation.
