Job summary

Australia Project Solutions Pty Ltd – Mackay QLD is seeking an experienced Transport Scheduler to assist our growing team. The role centers on coordinating day-to-day transport requirements for the company and subcontractor fleet, using our Transport Management System, and ensuring safety and fatigue controls are followed.

Ideal candidates will have experience in road transport, knowledge of NHVR compliance, and strong organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within the Road Transport Industry.
• Knowledge of NHVR compliance and heavy haulage.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist management to oversee and plan the day to day transport requirements of the Company and Sub-contractor fleet.

We are seeking an experienced Transport Scheduler to assist our fast growing business.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist management to oversee and plan the day to day transport requirements of the Company and Sub-contractor fleet
• Job management in our Transport Management System
• Ensure scheduling is in line with safety compliance and fatigue management
• Assist with job quoting
• Assist with Project Management
• Sales and Business Development duties

About you

• Experience in a similar position within the Road Transport Industry (highly desirable)
• Knowledge of Heavy Haulage and NHVR Compliance
• Knowledge of Mining and Civil machinery (highly desirable)
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Sound experience in Microsoft programs
