Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Transport Manager to oversee transport operations at RAAF Base Wagga. The role focuses on safety, compliance and high service delivery, leading a team and engaging with Defence stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

You will manage rosters, fleet utilisation and contractor relationships, ensuring reports are delivered and standards met across the operation. This is a full-time, on-site role with a focus on operational excellence.

Are you an experienced leader with a passion for operational excellence, safety and service delivery? Compass Group is seeking a dedicated Transport Manager to lead transport operations and ensure the efficient delivery of services at RAAF Base Wagga.

About the Role

As the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of transport operations, ensuring high standards of safety, compliance and operational performance. You'll lead a team, manage resources, engage with Defence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement across the operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee transport operations to ensure safe, efficient and compliant service delivery
• Manage vehicle and fleet utilisation to meet operational requirements
• Develop and maintain staff rosters aligned with operational needs
• Respond to Defence stakeholder enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally

About You

• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance, including a satisfactory Australian Federal Police check
