Job summary

Neumann Steel Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator for our Currumbin facility on the Gold Coast. You will manage drivers, coordinate daily runs, and ensure on-time customer deliveries while maintaining safety and compliance.

You will liaise with customers, plan rosters, and work closely with production planning to prioritise loads and resolve transport issues. The role requires strong organisation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Allocate daily orders and coordinate driver runs to meet timeframes.

• Maintain regular communication with customers to minimise demurrage issues.
• Liaise with drivers to ensure timely product distribution and paperwork.
• Collaborate with Production Planning to prioritise loads and resolve transport issues.

Quick overview of the role:

We are seeking an experienced TransportCoordinator to join our Manufacturing facility based inCurrumbin. You will manage and support allDrivers/Transport to ensure all company andcustomer deliveries are successful, as well as manage the driver roster and regularly liaisewith customers to troubleshoot queries and issues.

What will you be doing?

• Allocate daily orders and coordinate driver runs to ensure customer timeframes and expectations are met.
• Organise, maintain, and manage the daily driver roster and transport schedule.
• Ensure safe loading procedures, Chain of Responsibility requirements, and transport legislation are consistently adhered to.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to minimise internal and external demurrage issues.
• Liaise with drivers to ensure timely product distribution, return of dunnage, and completion of all required paperwork.
• Work closely with Production Planning and Bar Production to prioritise loads, coordinate customer returns, and resolve transport queries and issues.
