Job summary

Chandlerpersonnel is offering a full-time Business Administration Traineeship focused on Transport Compliance in Epping, VIC. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting the movement of trucks and plant equipment on major Melbourne projects while completing a Certificate III in Business.

You’ll learn to manage compliance records, licenses, and safety documentation, work with subcontractors, and grow within a supportive team dedicated to your development in the logistics and transport sector.

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task and remain composed under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must hold a valid Australian driver's license and be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
• Willing and eligible to enroll in and complete a Certificate III in Business online.
• Professional phone manner with clients and subcontractors; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update compliance records for subcontractors, trucks, and drivers.
• Monitor licences, insurances, inductions, and safety documentation to keep records current.
• Request, verify, and follow up on compliance documentation from subcontractors.
• Ensure trucks meet all compliance requirements before allocation to projects.
• Support inbound and outbound phone enquiries related to contractor and vehicle compliance.
• Maintain accurate records across internal databases and compliance systems.
• Learn transport regulations, RIW, 3D Safety, insurance, and site-specific requirements.
• Assist Operations teams to support safe, compliant transport operations.
