Job summary

Petstock Rural Pty Ltd is seeking a Transport Compliance & Operations Coordinator to support Retail Operations, Warehousing and Transport teams across our network in Australia. You will help keep transport activities safe, compliant and efficient while identifying risks and improvement opportunities.

You will coordinate vehicle inspections, audits and inductions, and contribute to fatigue management and CoR compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics, warehousing, retail operations or similar operational environment.
• Previous experience in a compliance, coordination or operational support role.
• Knowledge of NHVR, Chain of Responsibility and transport compliance requirements is highly regarded.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections or compliance reviews.
• Strong problem‑solving and investigation skills.
• High attention to detail and administrative accuracy.
• MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with NHVR, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and fatigue management requirements.
• Coordinate vehicle inspections, fleet administration and maintenance activities.
• Conduct site audits, workplace inspections and operational reviews to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions to drive safer outcomes.
• Monitor operational compliance and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate driver inductions and contractor compliance requirements.
• Prepare reporting, track actions and provide insights on compliance, safety and operational performance.
• Partner with Retail, Warehouse, Transport and Safety teams to promote a strong safety and compliance culture.
