Job summary

Petstock Group is seeking a dedicated team member to deliver outstanding customer service, educate customers on pet care, and drive sales in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will contribute to a welcoming store culture, maintain presentation standards, and stay informed on pet products and safety to support our customers and their families.

Qualifications

• A passion for animals and providing the best customer service.
• Experience in a similar retail environment.
• Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales target.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with customers and team.
• Physically fit with ability to lift products up to 20kg.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service where interactions are memorable and meaningful.
• Educate customers on pet care and products with gained knowledge.
• Complete sales transactions and help reach store sales goals.
• Maintain a high standard of store presentation and stock replenishment.
• Stay up to date on pet care, products, and services to answer questions confidently.
• Contribute to a fun, supportive in-store culture and team spirit.
• Maintain a strong safety mindset and promote safety within the team.

• Provide exceptional customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions
• Through the knowledge you gain, you will inspire and educate customers on the best care and products for their pets
• Complete memorable sales transactions, aiming to reach set store sales goals
• Maintain a consistently high standard of store presentation while ensuring that new stock is promptly and accurately displayed whilst also ensuring we are replenishing our stock
• Demonstrate initiative by actively keeping your knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services current
