Job summary
Hornsby Shire Council is seeking a Civil Engineer to develop and implement a prioritised asset renewal, improvement and maintenance program for transport assets. You will translate asset condition data and community needs into projects aligned with the Delivery Program and Long-Term Financial Plan, organising condition capture, risk assessment and budget estimates before handover to delivery teams.
You will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, with strong road asset management, site

- Ability to assess needs, manage risk and prioritise projects.
- Strong communication across technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a prioritised asset renewal, improvement and maintenance program for transport assets.
- Translate asset condition data and community needs into projects aligned with the Delivery Program, Operational Program and Long-Term Financial Plan.
- Organise asset condition capture, assess risk and prioritise program, and develop project scopes, timelines and budget estimates prior to handover to project delivery teams.
