Job summary

Campbelltown City Council is seeking an Asset Strategy Planner to support its Strategic Asset Management function. You will develop and improve Asset Management Plans, lifecycle investment strategies, renewal forecasts and long-term works programs across the Council’s asset portfolio.

You will analyse asset condition, performance, risk, demand and lifecycle costs to support practical, evidence-based planning recommendations and funding decisions, collaborating with asset custodians, Finance and

Qualifications

• Experience developing Asset Management Plans, lifecycle plans and long-term asset programs.
• Strong understanding of strategic asset management, lifecycle planning, risk, levels of service and demand.
• Ability to analyse asset condition, performance, risk, criticality and lifecycle cost information.
• Experience using asset and financial data to support evidence-based decision-making.
• Ability to apply lifecycle forecasting, scenario analysis and risk-based planning.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively, manage competing priorities with limited supervision.
