Job summary

Panucci Transport in Australia seeks a dynamic, self‑motivated person to join our Transport Management Operations team and help coordinate local, country and wharf movements while maintaining service quality.

You will be trained on our in‑house transport system; the role involves long hours (about 10 per day) and requires a team player who can take instruction at first and progress to work with limited supervision.

Job description

Panucci Transport has been supplying Transport & Distribution Services in Australia since 1947.

We are seeking to employ a dynamic self motivated person, keen to be involved in all aspects of Transport Management Operations.

The successful applicant will be trained on our in-house transport system.

Applicant must have experience in:

• Local & Country Distribution & Wharf Transport.
• Sound knowledge of Sydney suburbs & coastal regions.
• Has had experience with this type of work.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Schedule daily drivers runs.
• Booking timeslots.
• Sound knowledge of 1-Stop, Container-Chain etc.
• Checking entry of paperwork.

Working with other members of our management team, the role is long hours (10 average per day) & would ideally suit a matureindividual who, in the initial stages, is able to take instruction from colleagues, then later perform duties without supervision.

The applicant needs to be a team player, self motivated & able to work either evenings or early mornings without supervision.

Preferably someone with a sense of humor.

The position is permanent, with an initial three month trial period. Shorter trial period if shown to have competence.
