Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective site operations and maintain customer service level
• Plan and allocate daily delivery schedules and delegation of duties to personnel.
• Monitor driver routes and deliveries while managing fatigue.
• Coordinating daily shipments/recording data working towards tight deadlines.
• Maintaining dedicated carrier relationships to ensure consistent, on-time, and complete dispatch performance.
• Control the scheduling of all arrivals and dispatches
• Providing clear direction and support to warehouse staff with a calm and concise demeanour.
• Handling carrier portals and online pallet systems efficiently.
• Solving operational challenges with a strategic mindset to ensure smooth operations.

THE ROLE

As the Linehaul Transport Allocator, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of all interstate transportation, a responsibility recognised by management as one of the most critical within the business.

TRANSPORT ALLOCATOR

THE ESSENTIALS

• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge within the food transport industry.
• Understanding of National Freight company rate card structures.
• Self-starter attitude with the ability to take initiative.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Sapphire One is preferred but not essential.
