Job summary

MRT Freight Services is seeking a proactive office team member to be the go-to contact for business partners and customers. You will track consignments and provide clear answers, coordinating with drivers to ensure timely delivery information.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, a calm phone presence, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; transport/logistics experience is a plus but training is provided. Monday–Friday hours with opportunities to contribute to a growing team.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and ability to learn quickly.
• Friendly, calm phone and email communication style.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Experience in transport/logistics is a plus, but quick learners will be trained.

The role involves being the go-to contact for business partners, tracking consignments, and providing clear answers to customers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Being the go-to contact for our Business Partners
• Tracking consignments and giving customers and our partners clear answers
• Working closely with our drivers for delivery information
• Helping customers and making their day easier
• Supporting a friendly, hands-on operations team

About you

• Confidence with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Transport or logistics experience is a big plus, but if you're a quick learner with strong customer service skills, we'll teach you the rest
• A friendly, calm manner on the phone and by email
• Someone who likes closing things out properly
