Job summary

Xpress Freight Management is seeking a dedicated MR Driver to join our Brisbane depot in Acacia Ridge, QLD. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely and safe transport of goods across the network, with a focus on safety, loading/unloading procedures, and accurate run sheet documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume transport environment.
• Valid MR/HR license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Current driver history report.
• Professional approach and a can-do attitude.
• All candidates will be subjected to Drug and Alcohol testing.
• All candidates will need to supply a current Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Daily prestart checks.
• Safely and efficiently operate vehicles for freight distribution in and around Brisbane.
• Complete and supply mandatory daily run sheet information in the required format.
• Adhere to safety and compliance policies, procedures & expectations.
• Ensure correct, secure and safe loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Comply with WHS and NHVR regulations and legislation.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle any issues during delivery.

About the Role

Due to continued growth, we have vacancies for a permanent MR Driver to join our team in Acacia Ridge, QLD. Youwill play a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods to various destinations.

This role is key to our success as a business as all freight within our network is moved using trucks. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work autonomously and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Prestart checks.
• Safely and efficiently operate vehicles for freight distribution in and around Brisbane.
• Complete and supply mandatory daily run sheet information in the format required.
• Adhering to the safety and compliance policies, procedures & expectations.
