Job summary

IUIH invites applications for a Transport Administration Officer to support client transport needs across the Moreton ATSICHS network in Queensland.

Qualifications

  • Ability to understand transport schedules and assist in transport administration.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain open communication with drivers regarding hours, availability and issues.
  • Collect data and provide feedback to assist in evaluating transport activities.
  • Organise daily scheduling of next-day client transports and driver assignments to be distributed by 4:30 pm on the preceding workday.
  • Identify transport types (e.g., Respite, Hospital transports, female drivers only).
  • Advise non-rostered drivers who may be called in case of late changes.

About the role

As Transport Administration Officer, your role is responsible for assisting in the administrative functions of the Transport team to support client transport demands to meet the collective transport requirements.

Your day to day duties may include:

  • Maintain open line of communication with all drivers regarding hours, availability and issues.
  • Collect data and provide feedback to assist in the evaluation of Program activities.
  • Assist with organising a daily schedule of “next day” client transports and driver assignments is required to be produced and distributed to drivers by 4.30 pm on the preceding workday.
  • Identify transport types e.g. Respite, Work it Out, Hospital transports, Female Drivers only, baby seat required.
  • Advise all non-rostered drivers that are not rostered for that day but will be called if there is any late change(s).
