Job summary

Public Transport Authority in Western Australia is seeking a Service Planning and Disruptions Officer to help keep Transperth services running during planned and unplanned disruptions across the network. You will plan disruption responses, coordinate rail replacement services, and support service reviews that improve reliability for passengers.

Qualifications

• Experience managing contracts, service providers or operational service delivery, ideally within public transport, infrastructure or customer-focused environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build productive relationships and coordinate across multiple parties.
• Experience delivering customer-focused information services during service changes, disruptions or operational events.
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data, identify trends and provide practical recommendations.
• Understanding of urban and regional planning principles and the role of transport in connecting communities.
• Collaborative approach to work within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan disruption responses for planned and unplanned events across Transperth network.
• Coordinate rail replacement services and service reviews to improve reliability for passengers.
• Research transport trends and analyse passenger surveys to identify improvement opportunities.
