Job summary

Public Transport Authority in Perth is seeking a senior security and operations leader to oversee frontline teams across our rail network, stations and facilities. You will provide strategic direction, manage major incidents, and drive continuous improvement in safety, security and customer experience.

You will collaborate with WA Police, Government agencies and industry partners, shaping transport security strategies and developing team capability while delivering a safe and reliable transport

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading frontline operational teams in a complex, high-pressure and customer-focused environment.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary security practices, community safety principles and relevant legislation, with the ability to apply this knowledge to operational decision-making.
• Proven leadership capability, including driving change, managing workforce performance and developing high-performing teams.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across government, law enforcement and community sectors.
• Highly developed analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities during emergencies and critical incidents.
