Job summary

Horizons West, part of Kelsian Group Limited, seeks an Operations Coordinator to manage, schedule, and oversee charter, school bus, and route operations in WA. You’ll ensure safe, efficient, and cost‑effective service while complying with fatigue management laws and company policies.

Work closely with the Logistics Manager and coordinators to lead driver assignments, resolve disruptions, and support after-hours operations, driving safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• WorkSafe fatigue management training for managers.
• Valid WA Medium Rigid driver's license (preferred).
• Experience in team management and providing advice.
• Background in fleet coordination or operations role.
• Knowledge of WA fatigue management laws and scheduling practices.

Responsibilities

• Schedule drivers and vehicles for timely service delivery.
• Manage operational inquiries and support incident investigations.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Provide after-hours on-call support and resolve urgent issues.
• Drive process improvements while upholding safety and compliance.
