Job summary

Glenorchy City Council is seeking a highly organised Project Officer - Business Transformation to support Phase 2 of a major enterprise-wide program in Hobart. You will provide high-level coordination, governance support, reporting, and document management to keep the transformation on track.

Reporting to the Business Transformation Manager and Executive Sponsor, you will coordinate workshops, manage schedules, maintain governance records, and ensure quality assurance across program

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Business Administration, Project Management, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting complex projects with multiple stakeholders, governance structures and external vendors.
• Demonstrated governance secretariat experience: agendas, minutes, actions, records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance secretariat services: agendas, minutes, action tracking.
• Coordinate workshops, meetings and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Maintain program schedules and reporting timelines.
• Support program governance, risk, and audit trails.
• Ensure document quality assurance, version control and records management.
