Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a major Finance Transformation program on a 12-month contract in Sydney. The role focuses on governance, reporting, stakeholder management and providing structure to complex programs rather than hands-on delivery.

You'll work with the Head of Finance Transformation and senior stakeholders, establishing operating rhythms, maintaining RAID, dependencies and milestones, and delivering clear progress updates to governance forums.

Qualifications

Proven Project Management experience within banking or financial services.
Strong governance, reporting and delivery oversight.
Experience managing RAID, dependencies, milestones, risks and project health.
Excellent executive reporting and written/verbal communication skills.
Experience across technology, finance, regulatory or transformation programs.
This is not a pure PMO coordination role.

Responsibilities

Own project and program governance across multiple workstreams.
Prepare clear, concise reporting for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
Maintain RAID, dependencies, milestones, risks and issues.
Provide a clear view of overall program health by coordinating delivery information.
Coordinate governance forums, including agendas, actions and follow-up.
Track key deliverables and dependencies to ensure timely decisions.
