Job summary

The Department of Transport and Planning is seeking a Training Manager to lead training and capability development for the Victorian Transport Digital Engineering (VTDE) Program. You will work with program leaders, change and technical teams to build workforce capability and support adoption of digital engineering technologies.

This is a fixed term position until 30 June 2027. You will develop training strategies, identify capability gaps, manage training programs and oversee learning materials,

Qualifications

• Experience applying training development processes, techniques and tools to identify learning needs.
• A relevant degree or vocational qualification with training experience is highly desirable.
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead training and capability development for the VTDE Program.
• Develop training strategies and identify capability gaps.
• Manage training programs and oversee learning materials and resources.
• Monitor participation and outcomes and advise stakeholders.
• Build relationships to support organisational readiness and program delivery.
