Job summary

The Department of Transport & Planning Victoria in Melbourne invites applications for a Training Manager in a fixed term role to June 2027. You will lead training and capability development for the VTDE Program, shaping strategies, programs and resources to uplift workforce skills.

You will partner with program leaders, change and technical teams to monitor participation and outcomes, adapt learning approaches, and build strong relationships to support delivery and organisational readiness.

Qualifications

Experience applying training development processes, techniques and tools to identify learning needs.
Degree or qualification relevant to training roles highly desirable.
Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or equivalent desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead training and capability development for the VTDE Program and related stakeholder groups.
Develop training strategies, programs and learning resources.
Monitor participation and outcomes, advise stakeholders and adapt learning approaches.
