Job summary

Cowal Gold Operations in Australia is seeking a Training Governance Specialist to drive continuous improvement across training governance and compliance systems, ensuring regulatory and company training requirements are maintained on site.

You will support platforms INX/Quartex Intuition and Moodle, strengthen workforce capability, and partner with site leaders to uphold safety, accuracy and quality of records in a mining environment on a 5:2/4:3 residential roster.

Qualifications

• Experience in training governance, compliance, learning systems or training coordination.
• Exposure to INX/Quartex Intuition, Moodle or similar learning management systems.
• A sound understanding of compliance frameworks and WHS requirements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality.

• Ensure legislative, regulatory and company training requirements are effectively maintained
• Support and optimise training platforms including INX/Quartex Intuition and learning management systems
• Improve the quality, accuracy and integrity of site training records and compliance processes
• Partner with leaders and stakeholders across site to strengthen workforce capability and compliance outcomes
• Contribute to a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement through effective training governance
• Report to the Senior Training Advisor
• Work at Cowal Gold Operations on a 5:2/4:3 residential roster

Requirements

• Experience in training governance, compliance, learning systems or training coordination
• Exposure to INX/Quartex Intuition, Moodle or similar learning management systems
• A sound understanding of compliance frameworks and WHS requirements
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality
• Experience within mining, resources, heavy industry, governance, compliance, banking or other highly regulated environments will be highly regarded
• Experience with Articulate Rise or e-learning systems would be advantageous
