Gold Fields is offering a 12-month Trainee Process Operator program designed to train you to operate a processing plant safely and effectively. You’ll learn alongside experienced operators, gaining hands-on exposure to crushers, mills, leach tanks and elution circuits, with a pathway to a permanent Gold Fields role.
The role is 12 months fixed-term, with an 8 days on / 6 days off, 7 nights on / 7 days off roster.

We’re looking for motivated people who are ready to learn, develop and build a career in the mining industry to join our team as a Trainee Process Operator.
This is a 12 month traineeship designed to provide you with hands-on experience, quality training and real-world exposure to mining processing operations. You’ll work alongside experienced Process Operators, developing the skills and knowledge required to operate a processing plant safely and effectively. On successful completion of the traineeship, you’ll have the opportunity to transition into a permanent role with Gold Fields.
