Job summary

CMI Hino in Melbourne's west is seeking a motivated Trainee Parts Interpreter to start a long-term career in a world-class dealership. You will be trained across warehousing, stock receipts, customer service, parts sales and the dealer management system (DMS).

The role offers ongoing training, a permanent full-time position, and a pathway to career progression. Successful applicants have completed year 11 or automotive studies, are punctual, team players, and willing to work Saturday mornings on

Qualifications

• Successfully completed year 11 and/or Automotive studies.
• Enthusiastic and motivated to build a career in automotive industry.
• Reliable and punctual with a friendly approach and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to work Saturday mornings on a rotating roster.
• Current driver’s licence would be advantageous but not essential.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in a career in automotive required.
• Willingness to grow skills across all parts department tasks.

Responsibilities

• Warehousing and stock receipt and put-away.
• Deliver safe and efficient deliveries to workshop and customers.
• Provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers.
• Promote and upsell parts products.
• Interpreting parts and learning the DMS system and quotations.

WANTED - TRAINEE PARTS INTERPRETER - Build a Career!

We are looking for the next generation of Parts Interpreters to join a highly skilled and dedicated Parts Department. As a Trainee Parts Interpreter you will be trained in all aspects of the role, including but not limited to;

Warehousing

How to receipt and put away stock, how to make safe and efficient deliveries to our workshop and customers in addition to maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse.

Retail and trade parts sales

How to provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers. How to promote and upsell products.

Parts interpreting

Developing your knowledge on our systems including our dealer management software (DMS). How to prepare and deliver detailed quotations.

This is an excellent entry role into a fantastic career offering ongoing training over an extended period of time.

To be considered for this role you must

• Successfully completed year 11 and or/ Automotive or related studies
• An enthusiastic and motivated individual, keen on building a career in a great industry working with a world-renowned brand.
• A reliable and punctual person, with a friendly approach and an ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to work Saturday mornings on a rotating roster.
• A current driver’s licence would be advantageous but not essential at this stage.
• A mechanical aptitude and keen interest in a career in the Automotive industry is preferred.
• Willingness to grow your skills base and experience by taking on tasks in all aspects of the operation of a dealership Parts Department.
