Ambrose Construct Group is seeking a Trainee Construction Manager for our NSW team. Working alongside the NSW State Construction Manager, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting residential repair projects while developing technical, operational and leadership skills for a successful management career.

This role covers day-to-day construction operations, assisting Building Supervisors, and helping ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience within residential construction or building supervision (essential).
• Insurance Building experience (Highly regarded).
• Strong understanding of construction processes and willingness to expand your technical knowledge.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to develop your leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of residential repair projects across NSW.
• Assist in monitoring construction performance and achieving client KPIs.
• Provide support with scheduling, audits, risk management and project escalations.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, Australian Standards and WHS requirements.
• Interpret plans, engineering drawings and technical reports.
• Build positive relationships with clients, trades and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with reporting, performance analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to training, mentoring and customer service outcomes.
