Job summary

Ambrose Construct Group in Hervey Bay is seeking an Estimator Supervisor to transition from the tools into a supervisory role. You will learn estimating, scheduling and supervise trades and repairs, supported by a passionate Construction Manager and a national head office team.

Training is structured to help you exceed KPIs while delivering exceptional customer service and building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Carpentry or strong building-related experience (Essential).
• Cert IV or Diploma in Building & Construction and QBCC Supervisors Licence (Essential).
• Willingness to learn estimating, scheduling and supervision.
• Basic understanding of building practices; NCC/WHS advantageous but teachable.
• Confident with computers and mobile devices; capable of learning new systems.

The Opportunity

• Report directly to the Construction Manager.
• Learn how to estimate, schedule and supervise trades and repairs.
• Exceed KPIs through structured training using our industry-leading technology.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients.

• Insurance or estimating experience is not essential - we will teach you the technical skills.

Mandatory Requirements

• Cert III in Carpentry or strong building-related experience (Essential).
• Cert IV or Diploma in Building & Construction and willing to apply for a QBCC Supervisors Licence (Essential).
• A willingness to learn estimating, scheduling and supervision.
• A basic understanding of building practices (knowledge of NCC/WHS advantageous but can be taught).
• Confident with computers and mobile devices and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to high-quality outcomes.
• Proactive nature with a strong work ethic.
• A strong commitment to safety and working as part of a KPI-driven team.
