Job summary

Coates in Melbourne seeks a Traffic Product Specialist to drive revenue within the traffic portfolio, partnering with sales to grow market share and identify opportunities.

You will support product growth plans, provide pricing guidance, and train teams on product usage while ensuring asset availability and optimal utilisation across the network.

Qualifications

• Proven success in sales, business development or account management.

• Experience influencing stakeholders across sales, operations and leadership teams.
• Excellent negotiation, relationship-building and communication skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across diverse teams.
• Experience presenting to customers and delivering product or sales training is highly regarded.
• Knowledge of equipment hire, construction, industrial services, manufacturing or related industries will be advantageous.
• Previous background in Traffic would be advantageous

• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements to identify emerging opportunities.
• Provide product expertise, support, pricing recommendations and training to sales and operational teams.
• Work closely with Operations and Fleet teams to ensure product availability and optimise asset utilisation.
• Contribute to new product introductions and support successful implementation across the business.

We're looking for a commercially minded and customer-focused Traffic Product Specialist to join our Sales & Products team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional with a strong technical sales background who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering tailored traffic management solutions that drive profitable business outcomes.

Reporting to the BU Specialist Sales manager, you'll play a key role in growing revenue within your product portfolio by supporting the sales team, identifying new business opportunities, increasing share of wallet with existing customers, and maximising product utilisation across the network.

Additional Information

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
• Interstate travel may be required from time to time.
• Role can be based from either Truganina or Dandenong South.
