Job summary

Coates is seeking a Traffic Product Specialist to join its Sales & Products team in Australia. This permanent full-time role focuses on growing revenue, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored traffic management solutions that drive profits.

You will support sales, build customer relationships, and ensure product availability while collaborating with operations and fleet teams across the network.

Qualifications

• Proven success in sales, business development or account management.
• Ability to identify customer needs and deliver profitable solutions.
• Experience influencing stakeholders across sales, operations and leadership teams.
• Excellent negotiation, relationship-building and communication skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to analyse performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across diverse teams.
• Experience presenting to customers and delivering product or sales training is highly regarded.
• Knowledge of equipment hire, construction, industrial services, manufacturing or related industries is advantageous.
• Previous background in Traffic would be advantageous.

• Partner with Sales teams to drive revenue growth and increase market share across your product portfolio.
• Identify new business opportunities and support customer acquisition strategies.
• Develop and implement tactical product growth plans to increase utilisation and profitability.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver commercially beneficial outcomes.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements to identify emerging opportunities.
• Provide product expertise, support, pricing recommendations and training to sales and operational teams.
• Work closely with Operations and Fleet teams to ensure product availability and optimise asset utilisation.
• Contribute to new product introductions and support successful implementation across the business.

We're looking for a commercially minded and customer-focused Traffic Product Specialist to join our Sales & Products team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional with a strong technical sales background who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering tailored traffic management solutions that drive profitable business outcomes.

Reporting to the BU Specialist Sales manager, you'll play a key role in growing revenue within your product portfolio by supporting the sales team, identifying new business opportunities, increasing share of wallet with existing customers, and maximising product utilisation across the network.

Additional Information

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
