Job summary

Altus Traffic is expanding its NSW team and seeks enthusiastic, reliable individuals with a safety-first mindset to manage traffic flow at worksites and events. The roles include traffic controller and team leader, with flexible start dates and long-term security as projects continue.

Ideal candidates will hold TCWT and Construction White Card, a valid driver’s licence, and be able to work days, nights, and weekends. Join a values-driven team with modern vehicles and strong pipeline of work.

Qualifications

• TCWT Card – TCR & IMP required.
• Construction White Card (OH&S) required.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Safety-focused with great communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage traffic flow at worksites and events.
• Operate Stop/Slow bats to direct vehicles and pedestrians.
• Set up, monitor, and remove traffic control plans.
• Perform vehicle checks and equipment loading/unloading.
• Complete safety paperwork and hazard assessments.
• Work collaboratively with your team to maintain safe and compliant work zones.
• Follow directions from site supervisors.
