Job summary

ATH Hire and Logistics is seeking Experienced ABN Traffic Controllers and Team Leaders in NSW. The role involves controlling traffic and pedestrians at roadwork sites, following approved TGSs/TMPs and NSW standards to ensure worker and public safety.

Key duties include setting up traffic control devices, communicating with motorists and site staff, reporting hazards, and maintaining daily site records. Mandatory qualifications include a Traffic Control qualification (TCR & IMP) and White Card,

Qualifications

• Current Traffic Control qualification (TCR & IMP).
• Valid White Card (General Construction Induction).
• ABN registration.
• PWZ and TMA licenses are advantageous.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather.
• Good communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Own transport.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain traffic control per approved TGSs and TMPs.
• Safely control vehicle and pedestrian movements using devices.
• Set up and remove traffic signage and devices.
• Communicate clearly with motorists, pedestrians, site workers, and supervisors.
• Identify and report hazards, incidents, near misses, and non-conformances.
• Maintain a professional, courteous attitude.
• Complete daily site documentation and records.

Experienced ABN Traffic Controllers & Team Leaders

At ATH Hire & Logistics, our staff are responsible for the safe and effective control of traffic and pedestrians at roadwork and construction sites in accordance with approved TGS's / TMP's, NSW legislation, and relevant Australian Standards. The role is critical to ensuring the safety of our workers, roadside crews, road users, and the public.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain traffic control in accordance with approved TGS's and TMP's.
• Safely control vehicle and pedestrian movements using boom gates, stop/slow bats, and other approved devices
• Set up, monitor, adjust, and remove traffic control signage and devices as required
• Communicate clearly with motorists, pedestrians, site workers, and supervisors
• Identify and report hazards, incidents, near misses, and non-conformances
• Maintain a professional, courteous attitude at all times
• Wear and maintain required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Complete daily required site documentation and records

Mandatory Requirements
