Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience in traffic management, scheduling, resource allocation or a related construction/logistics co-ordination role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in scheduling software (Traffio preferred) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• A detail-oriented approach with strong accuracy in record-keeping and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Allocate traffic management personnel and equipment to projects based on client requirements, project specifications and resource availability.
• Co-ordinate service delivery schedules to ensure all projects receive appropriate coverage and staffing levels.
• Maintain comprehensive records of resource allocation, project timings and service delivery metrics.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients and field teams to confirm project requirements and manage expectations.
• Monitor project progress and resource utilisation in real-time, making adjustments to optimise efficiency.
• Respond to service queries and resolve allocation issues promptly to minimise disruption to operations.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to scheduling, resource allocation and service performance.
• Liaise with traffic management personnel to ensure they are properly briefed on project requirements and site-specific instructions.
• Support the management team in planning and forecasting resource requirements for upcoming projects.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant health, safety and regulatory requirements in co-ordinating services.
