Job summary

Versatile Group in Sydney, NSW is seeking an experienced Traffic Operations & Compliance Coordinator to support planning, coordination and delivery of traffic management across construction projects. Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience within traffic management or similar role.
• Strong understanding of traffic management regulations, standards and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing TMPs, permits, approvals and compliance documentation.
• Exposure to workforce allocations, rostering or resource scheduling.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate requirements across multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Competency across Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with project management, rostering or scheduling systems will be highly regarded.
• Current PWZTMP qualification/licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery and implementation of Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) across multiple construction projects.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, supervisors and traffic control teams.
• Ensure traffic control arrangements on site are implemented in accordance with approved plans.
• Manage traffic management permits, approvals, TMPs, SWMS and associated documentation.
• Ensure traffic operations comply with relevant council, authority and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate, current and audit-ready traffic management records.
• Coordinate changing traffic requirements throughout different stages of construction.
• Identify operational and compliance risks and work proactively with project teams to resolve them.
• Develop and maintain traffic staging requirements in line with construction programs.
• Assist with the allocation and scheduling of traffic controllers and operational personnel.
• Prepare weekly and monthly traffic management reports.
• Coordinate and attend relevant traffic and project meetings.
• Liaise with clients, councils, authorities and subcontractors.
