Job summary

Susquehanna International Group in Sydney is seeking a Trading Infrastructure Engineer to own the automation of build, deploy and operations across production systems. You will design and manage CI/CD pipelines, monitor environments, and lead tooling initiatives to improve resilience and developer productivity in a fast-paced trading environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in infrastructure support, deployment and monitoring.
• Proficient in scripting with Python and PowerShell.
• Experience with Windows or Linux operating systems.
• Familiar with CI/CD orchestration tools and deployment platforms like Octopus Deploy.
• Proficiency with enterprise version control (e.g., GitLab).
• Understanding of RBAC and security best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Financial trade floor experience is a plus but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines across platforms.
• Collaborate with production engineers and developers in a business-facing team.
• Automate processes to gain efficiency and quality.
• Monitor environments and systems health; troubleshoot post-deployment issues.
• Manage and configure cloud infrastructure services.
• Take an automation-first approach in trading systems and development lifecycles.
• Provide production launch support and incident response.
• Assist with patching and hardening as needed.
