Job summary

Akuna Capital is seeking a Trade Support Engineer to join our Sydney team. You will own the installation, management, optimisation and troubleshooting of our proprietary systems within the production trading environment.

You will collaborate with Development, Trading and Infrastructure teams to resolve issues, own upgrades, and scale monitoring and automation across desktop and server environments.

Qualifications

2+ years Linux experience with command line proficiency.
Proficiency with Python and Bash scripting.
Experience with database structures and SQL.
Strong communication and written skills.
Team collaboration across global offices.
Incident management and on-call flexibility.

Responsibilities

Provide in-office support to trading teams using proprietary trading systems.
Troubleshoot critical issues with Development, Trading and Infrastructure teams.
Own the release process for upgrades to core trading software.
Configure and manage production trading applications across desktop and server environments.
